Don’t Think, Just Say “I Do” By Esperanza R., grade 5
If I were invited to a wedding, and I had to give advice to the bride and groom, I would tell them this:
For the Bride
When you get married make sure that you have found the right person. If you didn’t, don’t fret.
Don’t be afraid to say what you have to say. Say it from your heart. Don’t be nervous to say, “I need help.”
Don’t get tense about everything. Ask your husband for help so you don’t get stressed.
You shouldn’t be doing all the work! Your husband should be helping with cleaning or cooking.
For the Groom
If you don’t feel comfortable in the way things are working, don’t be shy to tell your wife. She will understand and give you room.
If you don’t feel like moving in with her right away don’t be fearful. She won’t mind. Just don’t forget to visit her sometimes. There’s nothing to worry about. Say that you need time to adjust.
Don’t sweat it if she starts to talk about your future plans. Tell her not to worry about the future and have fun in the present.
FOLLOW THIS ADVICE AND YOU’LL LIVE A HAPPY LIFE.
